The timer trigger enable the bluetooth in a specified time interval, in the selected days. When the trigger expires, the bluetooth is disabled until other triggers declare it has to stay on. In order to add or modify a timer trigger the following shall be specified:
- Start time: when the timer validity starts. It can be configured by clicking on the plus/edit icon and selecting the hour and minutes from the picker shown.
- Stop time: when the timer validity ends. It can be configured by clicking on the plus/sedit icon and selecting the hour and minutes from the picker shown
- Mode: Timer triggers can be enabled in two modes: continuos or sampling. The first one implies that bluetooth is constantly active in the period specified by the timer. The latter forces bluetooth to be enabled for short periods, checking for any device to connects to. This option reduces battery consumption. The option "Sampling rate" in the preferences specifies the interval between two sampling. Each sampling is done by enabling bluetooth for a 2 minutes time interval.
- Active days: Days of the week when the trigger is active. By clicking on the checkbox on the right side it is possible to activate/deactivate each day of the week.
